1. About This Promotion
Onboard is offering existing users the opportunity to earn a $5 referral reward (the Reward) by inviting friends to sign up and spend with an Onboard Flex card (the Promotion). Your friend also earns $5 when they qualify.
Rewards will be credited to your and your friend's Onboard USD balance once all criteria described below are met.
This Promotion is available for a limited time only, as displayed within the Referral section of the Onboard app (the Promotion Period). By participating, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (the Terms) and Onboard's General Terms of Service.
2. How to Earn a Reward
You can earn a $5 Reward when you complete these steps:
- Share your unique referral link with a friend (the Invitee) using the "Copy" or “Share” button in the Referral section of the app.
- The Invitee must click your link (or enter your code during sign-up) and create an Onboard account for the first time.
- The Invitee must obtain an Onboard Flex card and make Qualifying Spend of at least $150 within 45 days of account creation.
- Once these steps are completed and verified, both you and your Invitee will receive a $5 Reward.
3. Qualifying Spend
Qualifying Spend means purchases made using the Invitee's Onboard Flex card, whether by tapping, swiping, or transacting online.
The following do not count toward the $150 threshold:
- Transactions that are subsequently refunded, reversed, or charged back;
- Transfers to the Invitee's own accounts or wallets (self-transfers);
- Payments made via PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or similar peer-to-peer or fintech payment services;
- Card funding, ATM withdrawals, or cash advances; and
- Any transaction we reasonably determine to be artificial, fraudulent, or made solely to trigger the Reward.
